Data Retention
Retention Periods
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Scorecards and statistics: Retained indefinitely for Bunkr Rating calculations
- Messages: Retained for 3 years or while conversation participants are active
- Marketplace listings: Active listings retained until sold/removed; archived for 1 year
- GPS shot data: Retained for 3 years for statistics and analysis
- Game records: Retained for 3 years for settlement tracking
- Deleted content: Removed within 30 days
- Account deletion audit logs: Retained for 7 years (legal compliance)
Your Rights and Choices
Account Controls
You can:
- Update profile information
- Change privacy settings (public, friends-only, or ghost mode)
- Control notification preferences for 40+ notification types
- Delete posts and content
- Block other users
- Manage location sharing settings
- Control GPS shot tracking preferences
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app:
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Re-authenticate to confirm your identity
- Review data that will be deleted
- Confirm deletion request
After requesting deletion:
- 7-day grace period to cancel
- You may cancel up to 3 times
- After 7 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible
- All personal data will be removed
